I miss Katy. We have so much fun together! We do kickline to Carmen on Hempstead Turnpike and eat pretzels and suffer through classes. They're nothing better than that. :)
I miss her A LOT and I can't wait for school to start just so that I can see her again.

Okay...because THAT's so not cliche!
Instead, I shall answer the 10 things I'm thankful to not have anymore. :D Interested? Whatever, I'm doing it anyway.
1. Math class!
2. Thucydides (Don't read it! It's torture smashed between two flimsy book covers.)
3. Perpetual headaches (Thank God!)
4. Love handles :) My pre-teenish love handles slowly became hips. (Note: no, this is not a recent occurrence but I am still happy for it.)
5. An old, junky computer
6. A closet-sized room
7. Writer's block (for the moment...)
8. A propensity for spacing out while driving (you didn't hear that...)
9. El Guappo (don't ask)
10.Crazy hair I forgot; I still have that!
10. Middle school (shudder)
Well, how's that for being thankful? It's nice to look back and think, "Hey, I don't have to deal with that anymore! Hurray!"
That was refreshing. Now, it's time for dinner! (Ironically!)
I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and a Happy New Year! (The latter's a bit early, but what the heck. They've got neon pink Christmas trees up at Kohl's. I can say Happy New Year if I want.)

I just couldn't resist this one because I had it happen to me just the other day.
I was in music theory; this kid leans over my shoulder and looks at my homework. He says, "Wow. Your counterpoint is genius!"
It gets better. I get the homework back two days later. I got a 100 on it. He says, "Wow. You're like a counterpoint goddess."
hehe Musicians and their pickup lines...
